Students’ Learning Outcomes of the Gakugei-in (Curator) Qualification Programme in Japan

Session Concept:
In Japan, Gakugei-in (curator in Japanese context) qualification programmes are provided in universities. Undergraduate students obtain this Gakugei-in qualification to work in science museums. From our survey findings on students’ learning outcomes, we suggest what kind of training is required to promote skills in engaging people with science and technology.
